Firefighter/EMT Brian Soules, recently attended a Confined Space-Awareness and Safety Class at the Smithville Fire Station. Class consisted of 2 nights of instruction by a NYS Fire Instructor.

Retired Lorraine Engine 99

1934 Chevrolet/Sanford Pumper. Obtained from Adams (NY) Fire Dept in 1962 as our first fire truck. The pumper was returned to the Adams Fire Dept in the late 1970's.  They completely restored the truck and they use it in parades today.

1943 Ford/Sanford Pumper purchased from the Black River (NY) Fire Dept.

1962 Chevrolet/Ward Lafrance Pumper, purchased from the Scriba (NY) Fire Dept in 1979 and was in service until 1989.

1970 Mack/Seagrave 2000 Gallon Tanker, purchased used in 1992 from Northern Fire Equipment. The truck was a former FDNY Satellite Hose Wagon.


Retired 28-6-1 on 9/10/2011 

1990 Ford/EVI Rescue Truck purchased used in 1999 from Friendship Fire Company in Sunbury, Pa.

We sold the truck to Tabernacle Rescue Squad in Tabernacle, NJ on 9/10/2011 where they will use it as a Rehab Vehicle.
