Automatic Mutual Aid to Adams FD-Structure Fire Smoke in a Residence
On 3/14/2025, at 8:11 pm, Lorraine Fire and Adams Center Fire were dispatched on an automatic mutual aid assignment to Adams Fire, for a reported Structure Fire at 19 Prospect Street, in the Village of Adams.
Adams Fire arrived first on scene with burning odor inside the residence. Lorraine Fire was tasked with assisting in locating the source of the odor. Upon further investigation the cause was determined to be from an electrical power strip that had overheated. Engine 28-4-1, Tanker 28-4-2, and Rescue 28-6-1 responded along with Adams, and Adams Center Fire units.
