Camp Rescue

At 0919 hours on 30 November 2024, Lorraine Fire was dispatched to respond with a UTV to extricate 3 subjects who had been snowed-in at a camp on a private drive, Berry Drive East, in the Town of Lorraine. Lorraine Fire responded with Rescue 28-6-1 and UTV 28-7-1. Lorraine Firefighters with the assistance of a local farmer, Doug Morse, and his tractor made their way through approximately 2.5-3 feet of snow to the snowed-in subjects. The subjects were safely extricated from the camp and brought to the Lorraine Fire Station to warm up.
